About the Summer School on Investigative Reporting

The Centre for Media Studies at SSE Riga invites you to attend the sixth Summer School on Investigative Reporting. Lectures representing the best of the best.

The keynote speaker - David Kaplan, is a true giant in investigative reporting.

Kaplan has decades of experience as a prize-winning investigative reporter. Today, as the executive director of Global Investigative Journalism Network, he promotes international cooperation and education in times when journalism and journalists are under pressure all over the world.

Besides giving the opening speech he will provide a guided tour through the GIJN Help Desk, a space designed to help investigative journalists around the world.

The Conference will feature in depth seminars with internationally recognized journalists from the USA, Sweden, Bosnia and Herzegovina and provide various networking opportunities.
